Identifying Dyslexia is challenging. Teachers mostly do not understand what dyslexia is and how to identify it correctly eliminating any other impairment/disability which students may/may not have. Early intervention is critical for struggling student. Participants will be taught how to make an informal assessment of reading, handwriting and spelling issues (through a case-study example). Teaching and reinforcing sound/symbol knowledge should be fun and engaging while supporting students to learn in multi-sensory, structured, language environment
